I see myself as a huge fiery comet, a shooting star. Everyone stops, points up and gasps "Oh look at that!" Then — whoosh, and I'm gone... and they'll never see anything like it ever again... and they won't be able to forget me ever.  - Jim Morrison.

Born in Walnut Creek, California, I was named after Halley’s Comet which appears in the sky every 75 years.

As the story goes, my mother was pregnant with me in the Fall of 1985, when she saw a sign that announced the re-appearance of “Halley’s Comet…Once in a lifetime.”  Since my mom was thirty-eight at the time, and had two other high school/college aged children, she felt there was only once in a lifetime chance to have me.  Everyone tells me that I started working on my art at an early age…like age two or three.  No one could stop me from creating paintings, drawings and cutting out intricate paper dolls, or if I didn’t have paper, I’d even draw on my hands and arms. I was really just a normal child with an unusual gift.  Today,   painting is still my favorite form of artistic expression, but I actually love doing almost anything creative.  I use my gift as an emotional outlet and a way of expressing myself.  Growing up my family moved a lot, which was very hard on me. The only consistent thing in my life was my art, it was my best friend and the only thing that kept me pushing forward. This is why I know art is my future, my past and my destiny. Each of my paintings has  hidden meanings that I will never reveal.  Art can influence and inspire people.  Were I to reveal the meanings behind the artwork it could influence the viewer’s interpretation and ultimately change their opinion of the piece of art.  I don’t have formal art training other than high school art classes and a couple of courses at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.  My gift is a natural talent that I’m finding has many outlets…acrylic and watercolor pictures, ceramics, sculpture, clothing, interior design and music…to name a few.  I have even experimented with hand painting clothing, which I’ve sold to a number of famous musicians like Erykah Badu, common, E-40, Ghostfact, Lucacris, Nas, Bobby Valentino and many more.  In Jr. high school I joined my school's choir, which we traveled to perform in different parts of california. When I graduated Jr. High my teacher asked me to sing with three other people for the graduation ceremony. At that time I realized singing brought out a confidence inside me that I had never felt before. I've always had a passion for writing. I started writing poems and songs in high school. My senior year in high school I met a producer from Sacramento who invited me to his studio. I had never quite understood how all these singers and rappers made albums or how the whole process worked. This producer fascinated me and I wanted to know more about the music industry. I wanted to be part of this urban culture and use my talents God gave me to create. Since then, I've been featured on a few albums, "Return to the Love" - Mystic journeymen (underground hip hop legends) "Dope Pusher" - Lefty Rose, and a few other local artists from sacramento. I've also done features with Goldie Gold from the federation, Sean T, Jon Wayne, Living Legends, Sunspot Jones, Luckiam, Doey Rock, Bloe, J dot, and many others. Every song I do is a little part of me to share to the world. I am a dreamer and the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dream. I always illuminate the vision of what is possible because anything is possible if you believe in yourself.
